HyperX QuadCast 2 is a full-aluminium USB condenser microphone that records at up to 24-bit/96 kHz through three 14 mm capsules, with four selectable polar patterns: cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional and stereo.
A multifunction knob puts mic gain, playback volume, monitoring volume and pattern selection on the mic itself, alongside the signature tap-to-mute sensor, a mic status LED and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for monitoring. It sits in a detachable vibration-dampening shock mount on a desk stand, with red lighting on Black and blue lighting on Frost.
This is a brown-box unit: it comes in plain packaging instead of the HyperX retail box.
