ID-COOLING FROST PTM2 is a phase-change thermal interface pad that combines the convenience of a pad with performance close to high-end paste. At room temperature it is a solid, easy-to-place sheet; as the chip heats up it softens into a gel that fills micro-gaps for excellent contact - with no pump-out, no drying and no mess.
Each pack includes two 40 x 40 x 0.2mm pads rated at 8.5 W/mK with very low thermal impedance (0.04 C-cm2/W) and a wide -40 C to 200 C operating range. It is non-conductive, so there is no risk of shorting components if it contacts nearby pins - making it especially popular for GPU core repastes as well as CPUs and consoles.
