The NITRO+ B850M WIFI is Sapphire's premium AMD B850 Micro-ATX motherboard for Socket AM5, aimed at enthusiasts who want flagship features in a compact board. It supports Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series processors and leads with a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and a stronger power stage than the Pulse.
A 12+2+1 phase CPU power design rated at 55A per phase, fed by dual 8-pin connectors, provides serious headroom for overclocking and high core-count Ryzen processors. Robust VRM, M.2 and chipset cooling keeps the board stable under sustained load, and a Debug LED helps diagnose boot issues quickly.
Four DIMM slots run dual-channel DDR5 up to 256GB (4x 64GB) at overclocked speeds up to 8000 MHz, with AMD EXPO and Intel XMP support. A PCIe 5.0 x16 slot delivers full next-generation graphics bandwidth, with a secondary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (x4 electrical) for expansion.
Two M.2 sockets include a PCIe 5.0 x4 slot for the fastest Gen5 SSDs plus a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, with four SATA 6Gb/s ports for extra drives.
WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3 are built in, and a Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port handles wired networking.
